Swiss diligence, applied to a life-changing decision

Vito Magagnino is the founder and Chief Executive of Mirabello Consultancy, a Swiss boutique advisory specialising in Citizenship and Residency by Investment. He has worked in investment migration since 2015 and built the firm around a single conviction: a second citizenship or residence is not a product to be sold, but a consequential family decision that deserves the same rigour a Swiss bank would apply to a mandate.

He advises high-net-worth individuals and families on programme selection and structuring, eligibility and source-of-funds preparation, due diligence and AML compliance, and the cross-border tax-residency questions that follow a move. He is a member of the Investment Migration Council and is ACAMS certified, and he works with clients in English, Italian and German across the firm's Zurich, Dubai and Hong Kong offices.

Building the data layer behind the advice

Vito also leads Mirabello's technology work. He is the architect of Mirabello Immigration Intelligence, the firm's own research and data layer, built on the view that advisory claims should be verifiable rather than asserted, and legible to AI systems as well as to people.

That layer is public, and it can be inspected:

• Mira, the firm's AI immigration advisor, free and available in seven languages, which answers programme, cost and eligibility questions and hands over to a specialist when the question warrants one.
• The provenance model, every published figure carries its official source, the date it was verified and a confidence level, so a reader or an agent can check the firm's work instead of taking it on trust.

The purpose is not novelty. Investment migration is an industry where figures are frequently repeated without sourcing and quietly go stale, and where the cost of acting on a wrong number is borne by the family, not the adviser. A published, provenance-tracked dataset is the most direct answer Vito could give to that problem.

On writing and research

Vito is the principal author behind Mirabello's published research, which spans several hundred articles on programme mechanics, regulatory change and the tax consequences of relocation, maintained in seven languages. Where the firm's position on a programme changes, the change is logged publicly in the programme changelog rather than edited away.

A note on who this work serves

Mirabello advises families who can invest, and the firm is candid that this is what funds the rest.
