The residence
The villas belong to Jungle Bay Resort, an eco-resort near Soufrière on Dominica's south-west coast, open since 2019 and completed in 2022. Each villa is sold to its own buyer with a recorded freehold title: about 37 square metres of living space on roughly 111 square metres of land, built with natural materials.
Ownership is hands-off. Maintenance, insurance, marketing and daily operations are managed for the owner, who joins the resort's rental programme with annual income distributions and has one week of personal use a year.

The setting
Jungle Bay sits on the slopes above Soufrière, close to the Soufrière Scotts Head Marine Reserve and the trails of the south. Roseau, the capital, is about half an hour's drive away.

The citizenship
Dominica grants citizenship to families who buy a unit in a government-approved project worth at least US$200,000 and keep it for 3 years from the grant of citizenship. Government, due-diligence and processing fees are paid on top of the purchase.

How long must I keep the property?
3 years from the date citizenship is granted, or 5 years if the property is sold to a later citizenship applicant. A sale after the holding period does not affect your citizenship.
What is the total cost of citizenship through this property?

Can my family be included?
