Mirabello tracks visa-free baselines for 84 origin nationalities, which is what turns a headline mobility number into a real, personal gain. Destination figures below are scoped to the 37 programmes for which we hold a verified visa-free count.
Last updated 2026-09-12Origin baselines in our backbone run from 28 visa-free destinations (AF) to 193 (JP), a gap of 165 destinations. The same second passport is transformational at one end of that range and close to worthless at the other.
The median origin nationality we track holds visa-free access to 135 destinations before any second citizenship.
Strong-passport nationals, JP, SG, DE, KR, MT, SE among them, already exceed most investment-migration passports on visa-free access. For them the honest case for a second citizenship is optionality, tax residence or succession, not travel.
